Twilight Camp 2007

               Golden Arrow District

When:
 
June 4-8 and June 11-15 (two separate sessions).
Camp will be held from 5:30pm to 9:00pm each day.
Where: Houston Baptist University, 7502 Fondren Rd. (near Southwest Freeway).
Who: Any registered Cub Scout may attend if he will be entering 1st grade or above in August 2007.
Cost:
 
 
$50 for each Tiger, Wolf or Bear
$60 for each Webelos Scout
Early Bird Special:  $5 discount per scout if registering before March 31.
Registration:
 
 
 
Registration will officially open on January 1.  Forms will be available at Roundtables beginning on February 2.  Registration forms can also be downloaded as indicated below.  Registration will close on April 30.  In order to secure a spot for your Scout, a completed form and payment must be turned in prior to April 30.  Mail your registration form to the address on that form.  NO registration forms should be sent to the Council Office.
Program:

 

 

 

 

Tiger, Wolf & Bear Scouts (boys who will be in 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade for the 2007-08 school year) will participate in crafts, woodworking, leather crafts, and Sports belt loop.
Webelos Scouts (boys who will be in  4th or 5th grade for the 2007-08 school year) will be able to work on the Craftsman and Readyman activity pins.  They will also be able to participate in an overnighter on Friday night, which will allow them to begin the requirements for the Outdoorsman activity pin.  Webelos also have an opportunity to qualify for the 2007 Jr. USA Shooting Team Patch Program and Archery Marksman.
All Scouts will be able to participate in Archery and BB-guns shooting and earn the Texas Criminal Justice Badge.
Friday night will be Family Night when you can bring a picnic or purchase food and drinks at Camp.  Family games and activities will be available.
Children of
adult leaders:
There will be a "Sibling Camp" for children of adults assisting with the camp program.  Children must be at least 3 yrs old by June 1, 2007.  The fee is $30 ($5 discount if registering before March 31).
Training for
leaders:

 
Training for ALL leaders (staff and/or walking leaders) is MANDATORY.  If you cannot attend training, you will be unable to participate as a walking leader.  Training will be Saturday, May 12, and Saturday, May 19, 8:00a to Noon, at Houston Baptist University, 7502 Fondren (at SW Frwy).  You need only to attend one of these training dates.
