Recognition and Awards Dinner

This dinner is the district's annual event to recognize the contributions
of adult leaders to the scouting program.

Location: Blanton Scout House at St. Luke Methodist,
on Alabama just east of Edloe

Check-in:    6:30 pm
Dinner served:    7:00 pm

Cost:   $15 per person by March 30

Registration: Call or email Mike Ledbetter or Tony Scharp (see below)
with your headcount no later than Wednesday, March 30. If you
register by the deadline, you can pay at the door on Friday.

For an explanation of the District Award of Merit presented at this dinner:

District Award of Merit: A plaque, signed certificate, and official knot badge. This is a Council-sponsored award that is the highest honor that a district can bestow upon one of its Scouters. Limited to one award for every 25 Units in the District. The nominee must be a registered Scouter and must have rendered noteworthy service to Scouts over an extended time. The nature and value of "noteworthy service" may consist of a single plan or action that contributed vitally to the lives of large numbers of youth or it may have been given to a small group over an extended period of time to youth in and outside of Scouting.
