Merit Badge Fair - Fall 2006
| WHEN: | October 21, 2006 8:15am - 4:00pm Opening ceremony 8:15 am Classes begin at 8:30 am |
| WHO: | Scouts from the Golden Arrow District Participation limited to 500 Scouts There are also training courses for adult leaders |
| WHERE: | Paul Revere Middle School, 10502 Briar Forest Dr (west of Beltway 8) For map to the school, click here. |
| WHAT: | Scouts may work on one or two badges with counselors
and other Scouts. Most classes are 3.5 hrs long, but some classes are longer. |
| COST: | $12 activity fee per Scout to cover
lunch, registration, insurance, supply costs and participation patch. Extra fees may apply to other classes; you will be notified if applicable. Fee is due with registration to reserve space. |
| LUNCH: | Noon to 12:30 pm.
Chick-Fila sandwiches, chips, and lemonade or water. Additional snacks available for purchase. |
| DRESS: | Class A uniform is REQUIRED for admission to fair. |
| REGISTRATION: | Pre-registration is necessary and
is accepted through Thursday, September 30. Registration is through the Advancement Chair of your troop. Scouts will be registered on a first come/first served basis. Registration form will be accepted only when filled out completely including signatures and fees. |
| ADULT TRAINING: | "New Leader Essentials" and "Troop Committee Challenge"
will be offered during this MB Fair. New Leader Essentials starts at 9:00a, and Troop Committee Challenge starts at 12:00 noon. |

Parents must provide transportation to and from these
