Congratulations to the 81 packs, troops, and crews of the Golden Arrow District that have qualified for the National Quality Unit Award for 2003! Providing a quality program to the youth in our area is a key goal of our District. Thank you for your efforts to make it possible. New Units and Units with Late Recharters
If your unit is one of the 10 new units that has never rechartered, it is not eligible for the 2003 Quality Unit Award. However, it will be eligible for the 2004 Quality Unit Award at its first recharter. Recharters for 2004 will begin in December with most of them occuring before the end of February.
Failing to recharter on time (by the end of the month in which your charter expires) is the only requirement that you cannot be corrected.
If your units did not earn this honored distinction this year, make a commitment to moving your program to the level needed to earn it next year. You can start with the 2004 Quality Unit Award application and then talk to a Commissioner or District Professional to get your questions answered.
Do it for the members of your unit. Don't they deserve the BEST? Don't you?
