Boy Scout Roundtable

Roundtable provides a forum for adults involved as leaders in the Boy Scout program to:

  • discuss topics of interest, both formally and informally
  • learn about upcoming District and Council events and programs
  • meet and exchanges ideas with other leaders from the Golden Arrow District

Roundtable is open to all adults involved with the Boy Scout program.  Registered troop leaders are especially encouraged to attend.

Roundtable for Boy Scout leaders is held 7:30-8:30 PM on the first Thursday of the month, except there is no Roundtable in July.  Roundtables are held in the Scout Room at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, 2450 River Oaks Blvd., across from Lamar High School.  You are encouraged to park in the Lamar HS parking lot.

Each month, the program revolves around a highlighted program topic.

For more information about GAD's Boy Scout Roundtable, contact the Jim Russell, the Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner.  You may also contact B.J. Yother, the District Commissioner, at 713-208-6756 (H) or Farrell Gerbode, the former District Commissioner, at 713-661-2790 (H).

During most months, separate meetings are held for Cub Scout leadersders
and for leaders of Venturing and Varsity units.
